Professional packing for moves — end-to-end protection

Good packing prevents 95 % of damage during a move. At MoveAstur, we make it a standard part of the service, using our own materials and techniques adapted to each type of item.

Materials we use

• Double-walled boxes (S, M, L) for books, clothes, kitchenware
• Bubble wrap for glassware, lamps, mirrors
• Furniture blankets for sofas, mattresses, appliances
• Unprinted packing paper for dinnerware
• Straps and tensioners to secure load in the truck
• Stretch film for upholstered furniture (dust protection on long journeys)
• Special boxes for paintings and artwork

On-site service

We come to your home and pack everything ourselves — from disassembling the living room to wrapping the kitchen glassware. For a complete 2-bedroom flat, expect 4–6 hours with 2 movers.

Intermediate option — we leave you materials and you pack small items (books, clothes), while we handle the delicate things (dinnerware, paintings, appliances).

Loose material sales

If you prefer to pack yourself, we sell boxes, bubble wrap and materials at our Oviedo office (C. Tenderina Baja, 183). Standard pack for a 2-bedroom flat: from €80.

International or long-distance moves

For long hauls (Asturias-Barcelona, Asturias-Andalusia or moves abroad), packing is reinforced with double protection and strapping to the truck chassis. This is included in the quote at no extra cost.
